Maybe you know someone like Peggy Smith of Napa, Calif. Smith, a hospice nurse, has been a foster parent to about 50 children over the last 18 years, adopting 3 of them. She also started Expressions of Hope which provides a care package of essentials to help ease the transition as children enter the foster care system.
Or maybe you know Jerry Cuffee of Bristow, Virginia. As head varsity basketball coach at Ad Fontes Academy, Cuffee instilled a work ethic and mentored players on and off the court. The team was recently given the “Godly Character Award”.
