Let’s walk on the paved trail through
Hawthorne before the start of the National Night Out Event. The walk will be on the water view walking/biking
trail through Hawthorne and Dark Head Parks. The walk may take between 30-60
minutes, and may easily be shortened or lengthened. Will meet at the entrance to the Hawthorne Elementary School school, as
seen in the pictures.

Since the National Night Out event is moving to auditorium if bad weather; the walk will be held if rain. I'll have my umbrella...it is a paved trail. However, walk will be cancelled if lightening.

After
the walk, great time for everyone to get together for some fun time at National
Night Out. Bring family, friends and neighbors and
stay for the fun National Night Out activities starting at 5:30 PM and
continuing until 8:00 PM.
Hawthorne Civic Association and First
Responders will be providing free hot dogs and refreshments. SportsClips will have free hair painting, Police
Precinct 11, Middle River Fire Department, Johns Hopkins Bayview, Target and
others will be participating to bring the community together.
