4th Annual "Grief During the First Holiday" Program

When we have lost someone special, the holidays can be a difficult obstacle. In fact, they can be the hardest time of year. The decorations and celebrations, which are supposed to make us feel festive, only remind us of our loss. During this season of love and togetherness, we can somehow feel very alone. It makes no difference whether the loss was last week or last January.

 To help you heal during the upcoming holidays, the George P. Kalas Funeral Home and Hospice of the Chesapeake are partnering with clergy members from our community in a one-hour program,

“Grief During the First Holiday Season.” A catered reception will follow, allowing you time to speak to the presenters and counselors individually.
