Authorities say a gray 1992 Dodge van drove onto the shoulder of the road and rear-ended the police vehicle. The impact shoved the police vehicle into the vehicle the officer had stopped.
The officer called for help and approached the van’s driver, Robert Salvatore Lamb, 50, of 23 Acorn Drive in Annapolis. Because of Lamb’s actions and demeanor, which police didn’t specify, the officer removed him from the vehicle.
