Man Charged with Sexually Abusing Girl He Met at Edgewater Martial Arts Studio
Jason Webb of Annapolis is charged with sexually abusing a girl he met in classes at the East Coast Martial Arts studio in Edgewater, where he taught.
A martial arts instructor at an Edgewater studio has been charged with sexually abusing a 14-year-old girl he met during classes, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.
Jason Alexander Webb, 26, of 704 Childs Point Road in Annapolis turned himself in to authorities on Feb. 20 after an arrest warrant was issued for him, police said.
The investigation began in October of 2013 when the Anne Arundel County Police Department, along with the Department of Social Services, received a report of sexual child abuse. The allegations accused Webb, a martial arts instructor at East Coast Martial Arts in Edgewater, of having sexual relations with a minor he had met during martial arts classes.

Investigators determined Webb began the relationship with the victim in July of 2013 and it continued for several months. Webb was interviewed regarding the allegations and it was learned that he had inappropriate sexual contact with the 14-year-old female victim on several occasions at his residence in Annapolis, police said.
Webb has been charged with child abuse, sex abuse of a minor, third- and fourth-degree sex offenses and second-degree assault.
