(UPDATE) Police: Man Found Who Was Deemed 'Critically Missing' from Edgewater
BREAKING: An Edgewater man with dementia has been found safe; he was missing for a day, police say.

UPDATED at 10:10 am Friday EDGEWATER, MD — Anne Arundel County Police say a critically missing Edgewater man has been located and is now safe with his family. Authorities had asked for the public's help as officers looked for the man with slight dementia who was deemed critically missing.

Authorities are searching for Robert Deane Rodgers, 86, who was last seen about 10 a.m. Thursday when he left his Edgewater home to drive to the CVS store.

Rodgers is described as: 5’8, 160 pounds, with thinning gray hair, and wearing silver glasses. Authorities say he was last seen wearing khaki slacks and a navy blue sweater.
The vehicle Rodgers is driving isa 2001 silver Honda Accord with Maryland registration 91774CD.
