Fugitive Hid In Pipes In Jessup During 6-Day Run: Police Chief
The fugitive who escaped from police custody in the parking lot of Clifton T. Perkins Hospital Center Friday never left the woods near the psychiatric facility, police said. Arrested after a six-day search, the man said he had been drinking from puddles and eating from trash cans to survive, according to police.

Gaithersburg Soccer Coach Arrested for Sexual Abuse of Minor
Miguel Alfredo Flores, 47, of Gaithersburg was the head soccer coach for The Academia De Futbol Salvadorena, based in Gaithersburg. Flores was arrested May 3 while he was at Centerway Park and charged with one count of sexual abuse of a minor and one count of third-degree sex offense. He sexually abused a seven-year-old girl during soccer practices, Montgomery County police said.
