Tractor-Trailer Crashes on US 1 in Elkridge: Officials
BREAKING: A crash near major Elkridge intersection was reported Friday afternoon, Howard County fire and rescue personnel said.
ELKRIDGE, MD — Drivers were advised to avoid the area of US 1/Washington Boulevard at Montgomery Road in Elkridge Friday afternoon due to a collision.
A tractor-trailer was involved in the crash, the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services reported at approximately 2:15 p.m.
First responders had been called to several collisions in the county Friday morning, when transportation officials encouraged drivers to allow extra time for the morning commute due to overnight snowfall and potentially icy spots.
