• Howard County Executive Calvin Ball Seeks Update from Commission on Disabilities on Implementation of Best Practices for Disabilities Services (howardcountymd.gov) — Howard County's latest disability initiative is being driven from Ellicott City, where County Executive Calvin Ball has ordered an updated review of how well local services support residents with disabilities. The Commission on Disabilities will reassess gaps in housing, transportation, education, employment, and information access, then deliver new recommendations to the next County Executive by May 2027.
