• Metro's Red Line returns to normal as 3 stations reopen Monday (fox5dc.com) — Red Line trains are running normally again between Bethesda and Grosvenor-Strathmore, ending the summer of shuttle buses along Wisconsin Avenue that served Friendship Heights riders. Commuters from Friendship Heights Village regain direct rail access past North Bethesda, though construction at Bethesda will continue for about 18 months as crews build the future Purple Line connection.
