July 3rd 'Independence Day Parade and Celebration' 2026: Montgomery Village

Note: The celebration portion following the parade has been canceled due to the heat wave.

The community of Montgomery Village will play host to its annual Independence Day parade and celebration on July 3, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The parade steps off at 10 a.m. from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at 20020 Montgomery Village Ave, eventually making its way down Apple Ridge Road and toward the parking lot of the Apple Ridge Recreation Area.

Organizers for the festivities say residents interested in joining the parade can do so by arriving at 9 a.m. to register at the church. Officials recommend guests park at Watkins Mill High School (10301 Apple Ridge Road).

Road closures will take effect on Apple Ridge Road in both directions from 9:30 a.m. and on.
