Germantown Homicide: Second Suspect Arrested
Eric Lee and Furl Williams have been charged with first-degree murder and home invasion, and are both being held without bond.

GERMANTOWN, MD -- Montgomery County police have arrested a second suspect in the homicide of 19-year-old Amaru Amir Santos Johnson. The homicide took place on Saturday, April 29 at approximately 12:55 a.m. in the 12800 block of Kitchen House Way in Germantown.
The first suspect, Eric Lee, 23, of the 13500 block of Wood Crest Manor Way in Clarksburg, was arrested on May 4 for the homicide. One male and two female victims were wounded in the shooting, and Johnson succumbed to his injuries after being transported to a hospital.
A Montgomery County Police Department press release said "the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore ruled Johnson’s manner of death as a homicide by gunshot wound."

According to the investigation, Lee and Furl John Williams, 24, of the 400 block of Brentwood Drive in Fort Washington, robbed two victims in the parking lot of the 12800 block at gunpoint shortly after midnight on April 29. "The robbery victims fled to the home where the shooting ultimately occurred," police said in the press release.
According to the press release, detectives investigating the scene located an unoccupied stolen vehicle in the 13300 block of Queenstown Lane in Germantown. The vehicle was found to have been stolen by armed carjackers on April 17 in Prince George's County. Police say that in the vehicle, they found the items robbed that night from the two victims along with Williams' fingerprints.

Police say Lee was known by several victims of the robbery and shooting and identified Lee as one of the perpetrators. This lead investigators to believe that the crimes were not random.
Both Williams and Lee are being held without bond and are charged with first-degree murder and home invasion.
