Great Glasses Play Day- A day to celebrate kids in glasses and for eye health awareness

The Great
Glasses Play Day is a day to celebrate children in glasses and raise awareness
about the importance of early childhood vision health. The 3rd
annual parent-organized meet-up event is taking place online and in parks
around the country and internationally the first weekend in May.

Last year, hundreds attended events held at fifteen sites in the US and one in South Africa.  Children were surrounded by lots of other glasses-wearing kids, their families, and friends, playing games and enjoying all the amazing things their glasses allow them to do.  

This will be the first time the event will be held in Maryland. Activities will feature arts and crafts, story time, tattoos or face painting, balloons and good old fashion play. You are welcomed to bring your picnic basket and join us on a day of fun and eye health awareness.

The event is for kids who wear glasses and kids who don't and their friends and family.
