Baseball: North County Takes on Severna Park

In our Game of the Week, North County's baseball team faces off against visiting Severna Park on Wednesday.
The Knights (0-1) lost their league opener on Friday, falling 8-4 at home to Southern. In the loss, senior Pat Carey had a single, a double and an RBI, while Junior Carlton Galligan and Tyler Simpson each drove in runs.
The Falcons opened their 2011 campaign with a light-shorterned 8-8 tie at Glen Burnie, as Brent Powers drove in the tying run with a fielder’s choice in the top of the seventh. Junior Ryhan Karr had a run and two RBIs in the game, while senior Trevor Freeman added two hits and an RBI for Severna Park.
