Glen Burnie to Host Great Mills in First Playoff Action

Patch's Game of the Week features the second seeded Glen Burnie boys (18-4, 13-3 league) who, after having a first-round bye, will host Great Mills of St. Mary's County Monday night.

Great Mills (13-10, 7-5 league) defeated South River 52-49 Friday night.

In a physical game played Dec. 20, the behind Larry Mike's game-high 28 points. Mike scored six of Glen Burnie's final nine points to lead his team to victory.

Glen Burnie, which finished 10-1 at home this season, is led by Mike, Jamar Kane and Garrett Brown.

If the Gophers win, they'll be at home again against the winner of the Severna Park-Broadneck game, which will be played at 4 p.m. on Monday.
