Police Search for Second Burglary Suspect

Anne Arundel County Police have arrested one man for a Brooklyn break-in, but say a second man eluded officers.

A Brooklyn burglary suspect remains at large, while his alleged accomplice is in custody for stealing two handguns from a house.

Anne Arundel County Police were called to the 5400 block of Magie Street in Brooklyn about 6 p.m. Tuesday for a residential burglary. Officers chased two suspects on foot into a wooded area, where they eventually split up.

One suspect -- later identified as Frederick William Brokos III, 26, of 516 Alden St. in Brooklyn Park -- was taken into custody without incident, police say.

The second suspect eluded officers and remains at large.

Detectives say Brokos admitted committing the burglary and stealing the two handguns.

The guns were found in the wooded area close to where Brokos was apprehended.
