• 31st Walk for Hospice and Celebration of Life set for June 20 (wvnews.com) — A major fundraiser for Hospice of Garrett County is coming to Grantsville Park on June 20, featuring a Celebration of Life, butterfly release, walk, raffles, and picnic-style meal. Registration starts at 10 a.m., with the ceremony at 11 a.m., and a $50 entry fee that includes an event shirt and supports hospice services for local families. 
• Local Libraries Announce Summer Reading Club 2026 (deepcreektimes.com) — Grantsville families can join the Ruth Enlow Library’s Summer Reading Club, including a free “Mr. Mike the Dinosaur Guy” show at the Grantsville Library on June 22 at 2 p.m. Kids can sign up online or in person, track their reading for prizes, and choose from many dinosaur-themed and nature programs running all summer.
