3 Thefts on Congress Avenue: HdG Crime

Armed robbery on Route 40, juvenile assault on Lewis Lane and other crimes were reported to Havre de Grace Police Department recently.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.

A juvenile assault was reported in the 400 block of Lewis Lane at 12:45 p.m. on Oct. 26. The child was referred to juvenile services.

At 7:50 p.m. on Oct. 25, a man pulled out a gun and demanded money in the 900 block of Pulaski Highway. There was $1,700 taken in the robbery. The incident remains under investigation.

3 Thefts in One Day on Congress

A gold iPhone was stolen from a locker in the 700 block of Congress Avenue, reported at 5:50 p.m. on Oct. 24.

There was $100 stolen in the 700 block of Congress Avenue. The money was taken from a purse in a classroom, reported at 12:50 p.m. on Oct. 24.

A pair of ear buds was stolen from the 700 block of Congress Avenue at 8:15 a.m. on Oct. 24. Estimated value was $29.

6 Arrests

A 51-year-old Georgia man turned himself in on a warrant at 9 a.m. on Oct. 25 in the 900 block of Pulaski Highway.

A 40-year-old man from the 400 block of South Washington Street was charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of a crash that caused property damage at approximately 11 p.m. on Oct. 24 in the 100 block of Bloomsbury.

A 39-year-old man was arrested in the 100 block of Wilson Street, where he lives, for failing to appear. The arrest occurred at 3:20 p.m. on Oct. 24.

A 47-year-old Baltimore man was arrested in the 100 block of Wilson Street on a warrant for parole and probation at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 24.

A 47-year-old man from the 200 block of Secretariat Drive was charged with DUI, negligent driving, reckless riving and failure to control speed to avoid a collision. The arrest occurred at 10 p.m. on Oct. 23.

A 41-year-old Belcamp man was arrested in the 100 block of Grace Manor Drive for violating an ex parte order after 10 p.m. on Oct. 22.

Other Incidents: Weed Citation, Public Urination, $8 Theft

As the result of a traffic stop on Chapel Road at Shawnee Brooke, a 27-year-old Belcamp man was cited for possessing marijuana and for driving 38 mph in a 28 mph zone. The stop occurred at 12:30 p.m. on Oct. 24.

A man was reportedly relieving himself in the 1100 block of Revolution Street at 3:19 p.m. on Oct. 22. He was gone by the time police arrived.

A theft was reported in the 1500 block of Blenheim Farm Lane at 5:10 p.m. on Oct. 21. Police said that $8 was taken from a wallet.
