$500 Package Theft, Bench Stolen, $106 Unpaid Bar Tab: HdG Crime
Suspected drunk driver fails multiple sobriety tests and other reports from the Havre de Grace Police Department.

HAVRE DE GRACE, MD — The Havre de Grace Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.
A UPS package that was worth $500 was reported stolen from the 1000 block of Chesapeake Drive. The package was taken from the front door around 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 24, and the theft was reported before 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 29. Police referred the matter to the post office and said the crime was under investigation.
A bench was stolen from the 600 block of North Stokes Street, reported before 1 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 29.

A 24-year-old Bel Air man was charged with DWI after failing several sobriety tests. The driver, who lived in the 1100 block of Benjamin Road, was stopped at 9:55 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28, in the 300 block of Willow Way in Havre de Grace.
A red BMX bike was stolen from the 400 block of South Washington Street. The bike had a black seat that was cracked, with the foam exposed. Estimated value was $150. The theft was reported at approximately 11:45 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 28.

Identity theft was under investigation in the 1300 block of Ontario Street, reported at 10:42 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 26.
Someone left without paying a $106 bar tab at a business in the 400 block of Saint John Street. The incident was reported at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 26.
