Bomb Squad Called to Aberdeen Chick-fil-A
After investigation of item in parking lot, police said Beards Hill Road area was given the all clear.

A suspicious book bag in the parking lot of the Aberdeen Chick-fil-A Saturday morning caused an evacuation of the fast food restaurant and surrounding area off Beards Hill Road, officials reported.
Ultimately, a bomb squad technician determined the backpack contained baby supplies and was not a threat, according to a report from the Aberdeen Police Department.
At 11:09 a.m., officials were alerted to the unattended book bag at 1001 Beards Hill Road, where they found it in a parking spot in the middle of the lot, the report stated.
