Jonathon White named assistant principal of Children's Guild's Prince George's County campus

White came to The Children's Guild in 2013 as a high school science teacher.

Jonathon A. White has been named assistant principal of The Children’s Guild’s Prince George’s County campus in Chillum. He came to The Children’s Guild in 2013 as a high school science teacher.

Now in his 16th year in education, White has taught at the Baltimore Lab School and was a founding member of the KASA College Preparatory School in Baltimore. He also taught life and physical sciences in the Ingenuity Project, an accelerated program for advanced students in Baltimore City Public Schools.

A magna cum laude graduate of Tuskegee University, White completed a Master of Arts in teaching with emphasis on secondary science at Bowie State University and is presently completing graduate certification in administration and supervision at Goucher College. White holds Maryland State Advanced Professional Teacher Certification in biology and special education.
