Food Is Medicine Program At UM Charles Regional Medical Center Receives $60K Boost From Wills Group (thebaynet.com) — UM Charles Regional Medical Center in La Plata has received a $60,000 grant from La Plata–based Wills Group to expand its Food Is Medicine program, which provides medically tailored meals to patients. Combined with more than $1.3 million in local funding, the project would expand recreation options and modern amenities for residents as the county’s population grows.
