Baltimore City Schools Make Weather Decision

Area was under wind chill advisory Thursday morning.

Public schools in Baltimore City will be delayed two hours on Thursday, Jan. 8, according to Baltimore City Schools.

Before-school and morning half-day programs canceled.

The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill advisory until 8 a.m. Thursday, stating that strong winds and cold temperatures could put people at risk of hypothermia and frostbite. People who must go outside should be equipped with gloves and hats.
