Weather Delay for Baltimore City Public Schools

All Baltimore City Public Schools will open two hours late on Monday, Feb. 23.

• Half-day early learning programs are cancelled.
• The district office will open on time.
• Essential personnel and all district office staff should report on their regular schedule.

Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Carroll, Harford, Howard, Montgomery and Prince George’s counties are also on a two-hour delay.

The National Weather Service issued a special weather statement Monday morning alerting drivers that there were patches of ice on roads; and with temperatures set to drop below freezing throughout the day, snow and ice on untreated areas will freeze.

The Maryland Transportation Authority advised people to be cautious on the roads and take their time walking to their vehicles.
