LINTHICUM HEIGHTS, MD — A Baltimore motorcyclist died Monday after a hit-and-run crash in Linthicum Heights, police announced. Officers identified the victim as 38-year-old Kadem Matthew Hodge.
Authorities noted they have an arrest warrant for the accused driver, listed as 30-year-old Ronald Scott Clark Jr. of Severn. Officials added Clark fled on foot, but his three uninjured passengers stayed on the scene. Police explained they searched the area but could not find Clark.
The wreck happened Saturday around 2 a.m. at Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Grove Ridge Court, an incident report said. The write-up indicated the motorcyclist was heading south on Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard before the collision. Clark was driving north on the same road in his 2000 Nissan SUV, the press release detailed.

Officers wrote Clark tried to turn left onto Grove Ridge Court, crossing immediately in front of the motorcyclist. The ensuing crash ejected the biker from his 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle, authorities shared.
Officials mentioned the victim was in critical condition after the accident. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department took Hodge to the University of Maryland R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore where he eventually died, the report continued. The Maryland Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death, the write-up concluded.
