2 Charged in Owings Mills Street Robberies
Police allege a pair of teenagers robbed pedestrians.

OWINGS MILLS, MD — Two juveniles have been charged in connection with robbing pedestrians in Owings Mills earlier this summer. One was charged as an adult, according to police.
Kevin Donnell Brown, 16, of the 1600 block of North Gilmor Street, has been charged with armed robbery; robbery; first-degree assault; two counts of second-degree assault; and theft less than $1,000. Police said that Brown was released on $50,000 bail.
A 15-year-old male was charged as a juvenile with robbery and released to relatives, the Baltimore County Police Department reported.

The charges stemmed from a pair of robberies that occurred on Wednesday, July 27.
An 18-year-old man who was walking on Lakeside Boulevard between 11:30 and 11:53 a.m. said he saw two people steal a credit card and cell phone from the person walking in front of him; then the suspects approached him, showed what he thought was a knife and took his headphones, police reported.

A nearby business provided surveillance footage of the two suspects. Officials released surveillance images Tuesday morning along with notice of a cash reward and by Tuesday evening, police said both suspects were in custody.
