2 Teens Charged In Armed Carjacking, Robbery Spree In BaltoCo
One of the carjackings happened in an elementary school parking lot, Baltimore County police said.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — Police said two teens have been charged after a double carjacking and crime spree that started at an elementary school in Baltimore County. Five people were robbed by the teens at knifepoint in the course of about an hour on Thursday, according to authorities.
It started at an elementary school parking lot.
Police allege the teens stole the first car from a teacher at Campfield Elementary School.

Before 1 p.m., the teacher was in the parking lot when officials said she was approached by multiple people, one who threatened her with a knife. They stole her 2012 Toyota Rav 4 from the 6800 block of Alter Street and drove it six blocks to commit another robbery, police said.
The suspects allegedly threatened a man at knifepoint in the 7300 block of Campfield Road. They grabbed him, stole his property and left before carjacking a second woman, authorities reported.

At 1:40 p.m., officials said a woman notified police that two people came up to her while she was in her car in the 4000 block of Old Court Road; one threatened her with a knife; and the duo stole her 2016 Honda Fit and other property.
Minutes later, police said that two pedestrians on Esperanza Court at Rosland Court were robbed at knifepoint as well.
Detectives investigating the case saw the stolen Honda Fit in the area of the Old Court metro Station in the 4300 block of Old Court Road and arrested both suspects, police said.
Terrell Maleek Jett, 16, of the 1400 block of Mountmor Court, and William Jhem Cunningham, 16, of the 800 block of Brooks Lane, have both been charged with the following:
- Two counts of armed carjacking
- Two counts of carjacking
- Four counts of armed robbery
- Four counts of robbery
- Theft charges
Both are being held without bail at the Baltimore County Department of Corrections.
"Through the coordinated efforts of our patrol officers and detective units, these suspects were quickly located and brought to justice," Baltimore County Police Colonel Steven M. Hlavach, Commander of the Criminal Investigations Bureau, said.
"Fortunately these individuals did not injure any of the victims in these crimes," Hlavach said.
The crime spree happened one week after a teacher on the eastern side of the county was carjacked. In that case, four girls were charged, including two as adults, after they allegedly assaulted a teacher at Villa Cresta Elementary School. The victim was in the early stages of pregnancy and was uninjured.
