Lanes on Reisterstown Road to Shift for Utility Work

The roadwork on MD 140/Reisterstown Road will last through early November, State Highway Administration reports.

There may be delays on MD 140/Reisterstown Road for the next five weeks in the Woodholme area, according to the State Highway Administration.

All four lanes of Reisterstown Road will be shifted temporarily so BGE contractors can repair an underground utility line along northbound Reisterstown Road between Grey Rock Road/Mt. Wilson Lane and Stone Chapel Lane, the statement said.

The utility work starts Monday, Oct. 5, and runs through early November, weather-permitting, according to the statement.

Lanes will be narrowed from 12 to 10 feet and be shifted to one side temporarily, according to the statement.

Drivers in the Woodholme area should give themselves extra travel time and may want to consider using alternate routes such as I-795 between I-695 and Owings Mills, the statement said.
