Ravens Lose Practice Time, Get Fined for Violation

Baltimore Ravens Coach John Harbaugh took responsibility for the misstep.

OWINGS MILLS, MD – The Baltimore Ravens have been punished for violating the collective bargaining agreement.

The NFL took away three days of organized team activities (OTA) and fined Coach John Harbaugh and the team, according to the BaltimoreRavens.com, which reported that earlier this month, players wore pads for 5 minutes of rookie practice, violating the collective bargaining agreement. The Ravens will miss OTAs from June 1 to 3.

"It's on me," Harbaugh reportedly said, noting he misread the handbook outlining the day's practice regimen.
