Terrell Suggs Arrested Out of State: Report
Upon learning of Suggs' arrest in Arizona, Baltimore Ravens issued statement.

Officials with the Baltimore Ravens said that they were looking into reports that outside linebacker Terrell Suggs aka "T-Sizzle" was arrested Friday in Arizona.
Suggs, 33, was detained after he crashed his car and police learned he had a suspended license for speeding tickets.
“Terrell made us aware of the situation, and we are looking into it,” Ravens Senior Vice President of Public and Community Relations Kevin Byrne said in a statement.

Suggs' hometown is Chandler, Ariz., according to his biography. He was arrested about 20 miles south, in Scottsdale.
Authorities responded to the sound of a crash around 1:20 a.m. and found someone had rammed into a median, according to a statement from the Scottsdale Police Department. Officers followed a trail of fluid to find Suggs and his white BMW 750Li in a nearby grocery store parking lot, the statement said.

According to police, Suggs was not impaired and said he may have fallen asleep right before the crash.
Suggs was cited for leaving the scene of a crash and drving on a suspended license, police said. He was booked around 2 a.m. and released shortly thereafter, according to officials.
According to a statement released to the media by Suggs' representative Denise White, there were no injuries and the arrest occurred in part due to old speeding tickets.
"This morning Terrell Suggs was in a single car collision, no one was injured. Police were called and upon speaking with Terrell found his license to be suspended for speeding tickets. He was detained by the police and released a couple hours later. Terrell will let the judicial system take its course and fix his license issues," the statement said.
It was not his first brush with the law.
In 2009, Suggs' then-fiancée filed for a protective order against him, claiming he dragged her and poured bleach on her and their son, according to Around the NFL, which reported she dropped a $70 million lawsuit against him, and he was required to surrender his multiple guns.
According to WBAL, Suggs was also charged with assault in Arizona in 2003 and was later acquitted.
Suggs, who has been an anchor for the Baltimore Ravens, was sidelined with an Achilles injury in September.
