Angel Park to Break Ground This Month
The creators of Perry Hall's newest park invite community to participate in groundbreaking.

PERRY HALL, MD – The first shovels are set to go into the ground at Angel Park in Perry Hall later this month.
County Executive Kevin Kamenetz, Senator Kathy Klausmeier, County Councilman David Marks and other elected officials will be in attendance at the groundbreaking on Monday, Feb. 29.

Slated for the area next to the Perry Hall Library, Angel Park is envisioned as an interactive venue that will include an amphitheater and playground with amenities for children with disabilities so that all children can play there. Angel Park will also include a memorial area for reflection.

Community leaders have been working to bring the park on Honeygo Boulevard to fruition since 2012.
Groundbreaking is slated for 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 29, at 9685 Honeygo Boulevard in Perry Hall.

There will also be two community events leading up to the groundbreaking.
- Cornhole Tournament: Angel Park fundraiser at noon on Saturday, Feb. 27, at St. Joseph Parish Center, 8416 Belair Road, Nottingham. Cost is $50 per team of two.
- Family Fun Construction Day: Community information and engagement activity at noon on Sunday, Feb. 28, at Soukup Arena, 4905 Joppa Road. Cost is $5 per family.
