• Perry Hall senior center jam band rocks on with help from local guitar string manufacturer (wmar2news.com) — Seniors at Seven Oaks Senior Center in Perry Hall just received free Elixir guitar strings and hands-on restringing help from local manufacturer Gore, keeping their popular weekly jam sessions sounding sharp. The donation supports a music program so in-demand it has a waiting list and quarterly concerts that quickly sell out, giving older residents a lively way to connect and stay mentally active.
   

• U.S. News & World Report ranks BCPS high schools among best in state and nation (nottinghammd.com) — Perry Hall families can celebrate that Perry Hall High climbed from 144th to 106th in Maryland in the latest U.S. News & World Report rankings. Several other Baltimore County high schools also earned strong state and national recognition, and district leaders say they're pushing to build on these gains as the new school year begins.
