Perry Hall Rainfall Was Highest in Baltimore County

National Weather Service provides preliminary rain totals from storm.

The storm that soaked Baltimore County overnight Monday poured 2.47 inches of rain in Perry Hall, according to initial reports provided by the National Weather Service.

Here is how the rain measured up across the county, according to the reports taken Tuesday, June 2:

  • NW PERRY HALL 2.47 inches at 7:58 a.m.
  • ESE TOWSON 2.42 inches at 7:39 a.m.
  • E KINGSVILLE 1.92 inches at 7 a.m.
  • ARBUTUS 1.47 inches at 7:53 .m.
  • SW TOWSON 1.36 inches at 8:30 a.m.
  • SW LONG GREEN 1.3 inches at 7 a.m.
  • ARBUTUS 1.27 inches at 8 a.m.
  • SW PIKESVILLE 1.12 inches at 6 a.m.
  • WNW BALDWIN 1.10 inches at 8 a.m.
  • SSE ROSEDALE 1.09 inches at 7:20 a.m.

There was a record amount of rain in Baltimore City on Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Approximately 2.5 inches were recorded, shattering the previous record of 2.14 inches from June 1, 1979.
