City Snowplow Drivers Save Man From House Fire
Snowplow drivers clearing snow Sunday afternoon around 3:50 p.m. spied smoke coming from a home in Aberdeen. The Department of Public Works employees ran to the home, knocked on the door and woke up the owner to tell him his home was on fire.
Dog Rescued From Frigid Creek By Firefighters
Firefighters from two county agencies ventured onto dangerous thin ice Monday morning to rescue a dog that was stuck in Luce Creek because of thin ice. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department received a 911 call reporting that a chocolate Labrador retriever was stuck on Luce Creek
