• Delmarva Chicken Association awards $30,000 in scholarships (wattagnet.com) — A Princess Anne graduate student, Unishma Ghimire of UMES, is among 15 students sharing $30,000 in Delmarva Chicken Association scholarships supporting poultry-related studies. The awards back both graduate and undergraduate students across Maryland and Delaware, and are funded by DCA’s annual scholarship golf tournament, scheduled this year for September in Berlin.
