Three men argued, then fought at the Rockville Metrorail Station in December. The attacker faces 60 years in prison.

A Silver Spring man has been convicted of stabbing two men following a Dec. 15 fight outside the Rockville Metrorail Station.

WUSA reports Reginald Cooper, 38, was convicted Wednesday on two counts of attempted second-degree murder. He faces a maximum penalty of 60 years in prison when he is sentenced on Sept. 25.

Metro Transit Police said Cooper argued with two men off Metro property Dec. 15, and the dispute continued as they walked toward Rockville Metro. The disagreement escalated to a fight at the Ride ON bus stop. During the fight, two of the men were stabbed by Cooper, police say.
