Did You See It? Residents Spot 'Space Jellyfish' From MD Skies
A "space jellyfish" made an appearance over the Maryland sky early Tuesday. Here's what officials say it was.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, MD — Residents across Maryland were gifted the opportunity to see the aftermath of a SpaceX rocket launch early Tuesday.
A luminous, cloud-like glow was spotted in the morning sky around 5:30 a.m. by individuals in Montgomery, Frederick, Washington, Prince George's, and St. Mary's counties, among other areas.
The National Weather Service said what many saw was more than likely a "space jellyfish," a phenomenon that happens when sunlight is reflected off the exhaust of a rocket launch.

The phenomenon was visible shortly after SpaceX launched a total of 29 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit from Florida. The launch marked the company's 26th flight.
