Ghoul Alert: Spirit Halloween Stores Open

Ready or not, summer has faded and fall is here, bringing with it all things Halloween. In Anne Arundel County, that means the Spirit Halloween Stores are open for the season.

The seasonal retailer has several locations selling costumes, masks, wigs, indoor and outdoor décor items, animatronics, makeup, collectibles, props and in-depth accessories, according to a news release.

Rockville area stores can be found at:

• Rockville Pike in the former Staples store, 11503 Rockville Pike Ste B, in Rockville
• Former Office Depot (corner of Georgia and Wayne avenues), 8501 Georgia Ave. in Silver Spring

In addition, Spirit Halloween gives back to the community through its Spirit of Children charitable initiative. Money raised in-store and online and through vendor donations supports the Child Life department at hospitals across the United States. The company says the program has raised over $22 million through 2014 to provide fun and funding all year long to its partner hospitals.
