• Personal, Banking Info of County Employees is Included in Email to Other County Employees (thecudaily.com) — Rockville-based Montgomery County officials are investigating a June email error that exposed bank account and routing numbers for about 7,500 retirees, firefighters and volunteers to dozens of county employees and volunteer leaders. The county has deleted thousands of copies from its systems, revised procedures, and is exploring new safeguards, while stressing there's no evidence so far that anyone has misused the leaked information.
