Davion Douglas Cited After 133 Grams of Marijuana Seized in Salisbury (shorenewsnetwork.com) — A recent drug investigation in Salisbury led Wicomico County deputies to seize about 133 grams of suspected marijuana and issue a criminal citation to a man they say intended to distribute it. The stop involved four people in a vehicle, but only one was cited before all were released while the case remains under investigation and the accused is presumed innocent.

Remembering Gloria Steinem's Visit to Salisbury University (wboc.com) — Salisbury residents and Salisbury University are reflecting on Gloria Steinem’s legacy and her packed 1996 visit to campus, where she helped launch the Women and Gender Studies minor. Maryland State Police arrest Salisbury man on murder charges (coasttv.com) — Maryland State Police have arrested a 29-year-old Salisbury man on murder and assault charges after a fatal shooting at a home on Ethels Way. Another 29-year-old Salisbury resident was found dead at the scene Thursday night, and investigators say an argument preceded the gunfire. Multiple local agencies, including Salisbury Police and Fruitland Police, assisted in the investigation.
