• When will work on Salisbury Route 13 bridge finish? End is in sight (delmarvanow.com) — If you’ve been dodging cones on Salisbury’s Route 13 bridge, relief is coming: the long-running project over the Wicomico River is slated to finish by mid-September, weather permitting. The work replaces the 1937 bridge and adds ADA-compliant sidewalks, a shared-use hiker-biker path, better signal timing, and fresh pavement between Main, Carroll and Calvert streets.
   

• SU Announces New Board of Visitors (salisbury.edu) — Salisbury University has named more than a dozen leaders to its newly revived Board of Visitors, strengthening ties between the campus and the Salisbury community. Members include Greater Salisbury Committee CEO Mike Dunn, TidalHealth President Steve Leonard, and other prominent alumni and partners who will advise SU and serve as ambassadors for the region.
   

• Baltimore Public Media, Delmarva Public Media partner to strengthen local reporting (current.org) — Delmarva Public Media in Salisbury is teaming up with Baltimore Public Media to hire a shared reporter focused on agriculture and environmental issues, with a start targeted for September. The collaboration aims to strengthen local coverage on the Eastern Shore and statewide, despite recent cuts to federal public broadcasting funds, by pooling resources and expanding in-depth reporting for Salisbury-area listeners.
