Developer behind Salisbury housing project expands lawsuit against city (wboc.com) — A proposed $20 million affordable housing project in downtown Salisbury is now at the center of an expanded $5 million lawsuit against the city and Mayor Randy Taylor. Developer Green Street Housing alleges new “administrative comments” and parking demands are unfairly delaying approvals, while the city argues the mayor doesn’t control the appeals process and has asked a judge to dismiss the case.

Readers vote for best Mexican restaurant on Lower Shore of Maryland (delmarvanow.com) — Salisbury food lovers can celebrate Cactus Taverna earning second place in Delmarva Now’s reader poll for best Mexican restaurant on Maryland’s Lower Shore. Located on North Salisbury Boulevard, the spot is praised for its mix of Mexican and Mediterranean dishes, from fajitas and enchiladas to paella and gambas al ajillo.

4. UPDATE: 21-year-old killed in Snow Hill Road crash (wboc.com) — A deadly crash on Route 12 just south of Salisbury shut down Snow Hill Road late Wednesday morning after a Nissan crossed the center line and hit a box truck. A 21-year-old driver from Virginia Beach died at the scene, a 17-year-old passenger was flown to a trauma center, and the truck driver was hospitalized as investigators kept all lanes closed into the afternoon.
