Be Aware of Your Surroundings When Using the Baltimore Annapolis Trail at Night

Recent Strong Armed Robbery on the B&A Trail have police stepping up patrols.

In light of a recent armed robbery on the Baltimore Annapolis Trail, the police urge citizens to practice good personal safety and report suspicious persons or activity witnessed along the Baltimore Annapolis Trail. The Eastern District has increased patrols in the Glen Burnie area of the trail and are seeking information in reference to a robbery that occurred on Tuesday close to 9 p.m. at Foxwell Bend Road in Glen Burnie.

A 24-year-old male victim said he was walking on the B&A Trail when he encountered four male subjects, according to police. One suspect asked for a cigarette while another suspect grabbed the victim and threw him to the ground.

At that time, the suspects went through the victim’s pockets and removed an undisclosed amount of money prior to fleeing the area on foot, according to the police report. Several officers and a K-9 unit canvassed the vicinity, but were unable to locate the suspects.

Suspects: Four black males in their 20’s. Two suspects were wearing white T-shirts, with one wearing blue jeans and the other wearing camouflage shorts. The remaining two suspects were wearing dark shirts with graffiti designs along with dark pants.
