Woman Facing Years In Prison For Home Burglaries
A 43-year-old Severna Park woman was recently sentenced for several daytime thefts she was linked to in Anne Arundel and Howard counties.
ANNE ARUNDEL CO., MD — Shannon Gough, a 43-year-old woman from Severna Park, is facing years in prison after pleading guilty to home break-ins that happened in Anne Arundel and Howard counties.
Court records show Gough pleaded guilty to first-degree burglary charges and was sentenced to serve five years of a 15-year prison term for the Anne Arundel County thefts.
Gough was also ordered to five years of supervised probation after her release and required to pay over $2,000 in restitution.

For the Howard County incidents, Gough was sentenced to five years in prison.
The home burglaries that tied Gough to the prison sentences took place in 2025.

The Anne Arundel County Police Department traced Gough to a home burglary at the 100 block of Jennings Road in Severna Park in September, while Howard Co. authorities linked her to burglaries at homes in the 5200 block of Kerger Road and in the 3600 block of Blue Hill Court.
A search warrant executed by police at a Glen Burnie home led to the discovery of "several items of evidentiary value" inside Gough's car.
Court records also show that Gough's home burglary case in Queen Anne's County remains open. She was charged by the Queen Anne's County Sheriff's Office for a burglary that happened in March 2025 at a Chester home.
