Firefighters Battle School Bus Blaze in Silver Spring
Georgia Avenue is closed in both directions at Shorefield Road due to the blaze.
Firefighters are battling a school bus fire in Silver Spring Friday morning.
According to fire officials, no injuries were reported when the bus caught on fire Friday morning on Georgia Avenue. When firefighters arrived on scene, 75 percent of the bus was involved.
Due to the fire, Georgia Avenue is closed in both directions at Shorefield Road.
