• Former Sandy Spring Bank Teller Supervisor Prohibited From Banking Industry After $246,000 Theft Scheme (mocoshow.com) — A former Sandy Spring Bank teller supervisor has been permanently barred from most banking roles after authorities say she stole about $246,000 from cash machines at a Silver Spring branch. Federal Reserve officials say the consent order prevents her from working at insured banks without special approval, while the bank itself has since merged with Atlantic Union Bank.
