Fashion savvy models with Down syndrome are encouraged to audition on March 15 at GWU to star in the Global Down Syndrome Foundation’s May 8th Be Beautiful Be Yourself Gala, a high-style fundraiser with celebrities and members of Congress taking place in D.C. The gala is designed to raise awareness about the chromosomal disorder affecting one in 691 babies. Auditions are open to individuals with Down syndrome and other disabilities who are 7 years old and older.
