Takoma Tap Takeover
Celebrate FeBREWaray in Takoma Park at the Takoma Tap Takeover. Maryland craft brewers are matched with local restaurants and bars for a celebration of local beer. Join in the fun Friday night at the Republic with Denizens Brewing Co from 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. On Saturday, check out Waredaca Brewing Company at Roscoe's Neapolitan Pizza from 4 p.m. to close.

Takoma Junction Community Consultation
Takoma Park residents are encouraged to attend a meeting 3:30-5:30 p.m. Sunday regarding the Takoma Junction Redevelopment project. Officials want to hear the community's input on specific design elements for the project, which will significantly impact the community. Check out the full Patch article about the project here. Sunday's meeting will be held at the Community Center at 7500 Maple Ave.

STEM Summit
Montgomery County is holding it's first STEM Summit from 1-4 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26. The goal of the summit is to create a vision for an effective STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) engagement strategy for Montgomery County. The summit will kick off at 12:30 p.m. with check-in and networking. At 1 p.m. residents will hear a welcome message from Councilmember Hans Riemer, and at 1:15 p.m. MCPS Superintendent Jack R. Anti-Trump Town Hall In Silver Spring
Some of Maryland's top politicians are presenting a town hall forum called "How the People and Congress can stop a lawless President" led by the Takoma Park Mobilization in Silver Spring Sunday. Read the full Patch article on the forum here. Doors open at 6 p.m. at the Silver Spring Civic Center at 1 Veterans Place. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. sharp and is expected to run until 8:30 p.m.
