1,000 Bikers to Roll Through Towson, Timonium for Veterans Ride: Police
Traffic alert: Roads along the 11-mile route for the Maryland Honor Ride may be closed Saturday afternoon, police say.

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD — A ride to honor Vietnam War veterans is set to take off from Towson Saturday afternoon, and police advise there will be partial or full road closures in the area.
Approximately 1,000 riders are expected to participate in Maryland's Honor Ride, with kickstands going up at 1 p.m. from the American Legion. The ride concludes at the Maryland State Fairgrounds.

- Start at American Legion, 125 York Road
- North on York Road to Bosley Avenue
- Left on Bosley Avenue to Joppa Road
- Left on Joppa Road to Falls Road
- Right on Falls Road to Padonia Road
- Right on Padonia Road to York Road
- Right on York Road
- Finish at the Maryland State Fairgrounds, 2200 York Road
There will be partial or full road closures along the way, according to police.
At the fairgrounds, the riders will stop for a throttle salute to honor the 1,017 Marylanders who lost their lives in the Vietnam War.
