3 Armed Robberies: Towson Crime

Towson crime in the past week includes burglaries, stores robbed at gunpoint and a victim who was later arrested.

The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about crime in the Towson Precinct.

A man was assaulted and robbed by two strangers in the 1600 block of East Joppa Road at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 6.

A store in the 1500 block of Joppa Road was robbed at gunpoint at 7:51 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5. The suspect initially attempted to buy a lighter, then showed a handgun, passed a note demanding money to the cashier, and after the clerk complied, left with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The victim of a robbery was later arrested. At 6:50 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, a man was assaulted by five strangers in the 1300 block of Deanwood Road. When the victim was on the ground, one of the suspects reached into his pocket and stole cash. The victim was arrested later for possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

Jewelry was stolen from the 6000 block of Lake Manor Drive. Sometime between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 5, the suspect smashed a basement window to get inside and stole multiple pieces of jewelry.

A cash box was stolen from the 1700 block of East Joppa Road. The suspect broke a side window to commit the burglary between 6 p.m. on Monday, April 4, and 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 5.

An armed robbery occurred in the 1300 block of Limit Avenue. Two suspects approached the victim and took money between 10:50 and 11:03 p.m. on Saturday, April 2.

The Royal Farms in the 6000 block of Falls Road was robbed at gunpoint. Two armed individuals stole money and cigarettes at 1:32 a.m. on Friday, April 1.
