3 Cases of Beer Stolen: Towson Crime

Two attempted burglaries, 19 vehicle thefts and other crimes were recently reported in Towson precinct.

TOWSON, MD — The Baltimore County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.

There was a burglary attempt in the 500 block of Yarmouth Road. The suspect(s) pried the lock on the rear window to the home. Despite breaking the lock, the suspect(s) did not get inside. The burglary attempt occurred between 10 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 6.

Two televisions were stolen from a residence in the unit block of Skidmore Court. The burglar broke a glass panel in the basement to get inside between 4:30 p.m. on Sept. 3 and 12:05 a.m. on Sept. 4.

Three cases of beer were stolen from the unit block of Danhurst Court. The suspect forced open the front door sometime between noon and 7 p.m. on Sept. 3.

Someone try to pry open a back door window in the 8300 block of Ridgely Oak Road. The suspect ran away after the attempted burglary, reported at 12:07 p.m. on Sept. 2.

Police said that there have been 19 vehicles stolen and five attempted vehicle thefts in the Ashlar Hill and Loch Raven Village communities since July 6 with the following similarities:

  • The vehicle thefts occurred overnight or in morning hours.
  • Keys were used in six cases.
  • Vehicles were left running in two cases.
  • Ignition was popped in three cases.
